KRyS Global appointed by lender for Anguillian Resort, Cap Juluca

Press Release–Charles and Linda Hickox (“Hickox”) , who currently hold first mortgage debt totaling in excess of $70 million which is collateralized by a first charge against Cap Juluca Resort, have appointed Kenneth Krys of KRyS Global as Receiver. Hickox also recently commenced an auction process being conducted by DK Realty Partners as a means to satisfy its claim against the property.

Located on 179 acres of Crown Leasehold property, with all guestrooms located just steps from beautiful Maundays Bay Beach, Cap Juluca resort’s amenities include exquisite villas and rooms, restaurants, fitness center, yoga and pilates classes, spa services, bicycles, aqua golf driving range, lawn croquet, swimming pool, library and tennis courts as well as water sports, including snorkeling, wind surfing, water skiing and sailing. According to Mr. Hickox, this action was also taken as result of recent publicity which presented inaccurate and misleading information about the legal situation surrounding Cap Juluca.

“It is important that we assure the travel industry and guests of Cap Juluca that it remains open and fully operational”, according to Linda Hickox. “We want to take all precautions to protect the property and to ensure that both guests and employees of the resort are looked after in the best possible way”, Mrs. Hickox added.
