Joanna Lau assumes Managing Director role for Krys & Associates (BVI) Ltd.

Press Release–Krys & Associates (BVI) Ltd. is pleased announce that Joanna Lau will be assuming the lead role of Managing Director of the office from Christopher Stride (“Chris”). Chris is leaving the BVI to pursue other professional opportunities.

Ms. Lau is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner with the BVI Financial Services Commission and holds a LLB (Honors) from the University of Liverpool. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, and a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.

Kenneth Krys, CEO and Founder of Krys & Associates, and himself a Licensed Practitioner in BVI, was appreciative of Ms. Lau assuming the new role, saying “The BVI office continues to grow, having secured a number of new exciting assignments and having available the services of an excellent and growing group of qualified professionals. Joanna’s hands-on approach and dedication to clients will ensure that the office continues to build on its recent successes.”

Lau brings with her 12 years of experience in the areas of corporate recovery, insolvency and regulatory services. She has been a senior member of Krys & Associates since inception and has resided in the BVI since December 2009. She has been involved in a number of the Firm’s biggest litigation cases, including the SPhinX Group and more recently managing the Fairfield Fund liquidations.

Ms. Lau is working with Mr. Stride to transition the current engagements that Mr. Stride has with Krys & Associates.
