Forensic Technology Services Director
KRyS Global is a niche fraud and disputes resolution investigation firm, with offices in six jurisdictions. We are currently looking for a Forensic Technology Service Director to head up this service line in our Cayman office and to coordinate the growth and development of the business line across the various offices. The successful candidate will lead the development of this innovative service line to our clients which utilises the latest technology and tools to investigate fraud and recover assets.
We are looking for someone with a strong track record in business development who is able to demonstrate success in building and developing technology based solutions in the area of forensics and fraud investigation. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage comprehensive engagements with little notice and produce reports sufficient to meet the needs of clients, their attorneys and courts. The candidate must be a strong communicator and have experience in presenting expert evidence in court. This individual will be expected to develop strategies and work plans for assignments and oversee all stages of the engagement from proposal through to production of the report and reporting to the client. We are looking for someone with good professional judgment and foresight in decision making as well as someone with excellent team leading, interpersonal and communication skills.
A strong technology background is essential and confidence in directing processes and activities in the area of forensic data mining and analytics, digital forensics, electronic discovery and hosting is required. Any applicant must have experience in dealing with computer forensics tools as well as advanced analytic techniques. A qualification in this field from a recognized institution or professional body would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have an international accounting, forensic technology, or legal qualification, at least ten years’ experience in fraud investigation and forensic accounting assignments and will have provided expert reports, evidence and testimony on such matters. Experience in conducting investigations in a professional and discrete setting is needed, and any experience in offshore fraud investigations and cross border matters is ideal.
The candidate will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package.
The range of salary for this post is US$150,000 –$200,000 with a comprehensive benefits package to include pension, health, twenty (20) days leave, and the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus. Suitably qualified Caymanians, status holders, or legal residents will be given preference.
