ORLA O’ REGAN
I joined KRyS Global in June 2014 and spent 5 months working in the firm’s British Virgin Island’s office before choosing to relocate to the Guernsey office.
My move to join KRyS Global stemmed from my desire to gain offshore experience on high profile, exciting cases. The work experience to date has been excellent with exposure on wide ranging multi jurisdiction cases and often involving people from different offices.
The KRyS Global team have made the job both interesting and entertaining, and the firm’s “work hard, play hard” mentality has been overall a very rewarding experience. There are a wide range of opportunities in the firm including both travel (for specific assignments as well as secondment opportunities) and continued further education is strongly supported. PHILIIP PIERSON
I was first introduced to KRyS Global as part of Mentoring Cayman 2007. I was then given the opportunity to work with the company during my school vacations in 2007. Upon graduating from high school, KRyS Global offered me an opportunity to work full time with the company which I happily accepted. The company also provided me with the opportunity to attend the International College of the Cayman Islands (2008-2010) and the University of Tampa (2010-2014) where I completed my Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s Degrees in Accounting. KRyS Global also challenged me to sit the Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner exams while I completed my Master’s Degree, which I successfully completed.
I chose to join KRyS Global because the variety of work done here makes it very interesting and the opportunities provided by the company are endless. From insolvency to forensic accounting to forensic technology, I learn new things every day and am always being challenged. I think other candidate should consider joining KRyS Global because the learning never ends and the interesting cases faced on a daily basis makes working here very enjoyable. SEAN CORDES
I joined KRyS Global in September 2014 from a highly regarded private investigations firm in New York City. The allure of the Caribbean climate aside, I chose KRyS Global as the right firm for me for a few reasons. First and foremost, I chose KG for the people. From my first interactions with the team I’d eventually join, I knew that this would be a place where my knowledge would be tested and I’d be challenged daily, but where I’d be able to grow and develop my skills with a supportive team. At KG, I have the opportunity to work with a close-knit team that handles major projects worldwide. I’m able to work with a project from the proposal stage all the way through to completion and it’s gratifying to see an engagement all the way through.
In the six months I’ve been with KG, I’ve grown as a professional and as a person, and I continue that growth every day. I’ve been able to build close relationships with co-workers, clients and vendors in a much more personal, natural way than I have in the past.
